Adelpha steps into her living room and is startled to find a stranger standing stoically before her.

The house is constructed from the design plan of an Ionic Temple from Greece. I modernized it by replacing the interior chamber with glass walls patterned after Piete Mondrians's work. The monochromatic style I used to portray this scene is a return to an original style of mine. It took a long time for me to figure out how to make it work in digital art. When I was using traditional art, I would just use dark wash pencils and watercolor pencils to achieve this effect.

I love this piece. I REALLY love it. The effect you have achieved is breathtaking! and I also love the inclusion of the Psi symbol. does it have meaning within the image itself? even if t's there just because you like it, it's really cool. I'm totally faving this!

Thank you! I was under the impression that the symbol was used in certain circles to represent the study of psychology. The lady on the right, Adelpha, is a bit of a nut case, so it seemed appropriate.

yeah I think it is actually I did psychology at A2 level and I think i remember that symbol... excellent piece anyhoo!

It's amazing how the columns appear to be part of the walls, and how they though seem to be in the foreground at the same time. I love the great ambivalence of and in your pictures.
The two colours with their many shades make it an interesting piece; they definitely keep the magic black and white pictures can keep too.
